Professional Journey & Passion for Endodontics
While practicing as a general dentist for 8 years in southern California I developed a deep love and passion for Endodontics. The gratification that one gets by alleviating toothache and seeing a smile on the patient’s face has always attracted me to this field and it continues to do so even today.
Advanced Education & Board Certification
I decided to go back to school and pursue my specialty training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey. I also did an extra year of Endodontic Fellowship at the University of Florida, Gainesville. I feel very lucky that I got the opportunity to work with some of the top-notch mentors and gurus in the field of Endodontics.
With the help of the right education and perseverance, I was able to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics, the highest honor awarded by The American Board of Endodontics.
Comprehensive Approach & Teaching
Having been a dentist for 20 years with a background in general dentistry helps to have a comprehensive approach in treatment planning rather than just focusing on a single tooth. I have also served as a part-time faculty at the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. In my practice, we use the most up-to-date techniques and technology so that you receive the highest quality of care.
Community, Family & Interests
My biggest accomplishment is the love and the trust of my patients and referring dentists. I feel very blessed to have the support of my community (Santa Cruz). I am not only passionate about helping my patients, by alleviating their pain but also their fears associated with root canal procedures.
My husband and I have a 4-year-old son and call Santa Cruz our home. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, dancing with my son, listening to music, and traveling.
